Space Ace Accessorizes

Today Space Ace needed help with his “iPod.” Only it wasn’t an iPod it was a flash memory stick, but unlike any other flash drive I have ever seen this one came equipped with an AA battery (I have never seen any USB drive that used a battery before). Now typical to anything Space Ace is a part of the battery door on the drive was missing so he had the thing rigged together with tape. It really was quite a sight. I set him up on a PC and off he went… Tally ho!

  1. Hmm. Might he have confused what he had with 512 MB iPod Shuffle that had such a form factor?

  2. Thanks for commenting! Perhaps. Either way, have you ever seen a flash drive with a battery? So far nobody I ask a has… Anyone?

  3. Hmmm…was it a MuVo? Says it’s a “USB 2.0 Flash Drive with battery cradle capable of up to 15 hours of MP3 play on one AAA battery.”

  4. It had to be something similar… But it was hard to tell as it had tape all over it.

  5. what else does he have in the accessories department? a foil helmet perhaps?

  6. LOL… No Nursemura, you’re confusing Space Ace with another guy.

  7. It might have been a bit of a flash drive cobbled onto some other bit of kit and held together with gaffer tape. One of our customers used to have a “hard disk” that turned out to be six floppies taped to a DIN cable.
