Rocks

Today we found a new idiosyncrasy. Someone is bringing in rocks and leaving them behind the shelved books. These aren’t just any rocks mind you, they are the white decorative kind that landscapers use around topiaries and shrubberies and such.

… WTF?

  1. Hmmmm…someone trying to make a mini Zen garden in the library? Maybe it’s a Feng Shui thang? 😉

  2. LOL… I once hosted a program on Feng Shui and it was a tremendous success… Who knew?

  3. cctv?

or maybe you could weigh everyone on entering and exiting 🙂

  4. We have cameras, but who knows when to look? The rocks could have been there for weeks…

  5. At our local library, some guy went around leaving pornographic images interleaved in the books. When the fuzz caught him, he said that he was trying to bring a smile to the face of any male borrowers who came across (so to speak) the images. He claimed that this little hobby gave him a sexual rush, by proxy.

I think you’re looking for someone who’s trying to get his rocks off.

  6. Maybe they think your library is… rockin’?

    Oh, yeah, I went there.

  7. Well aren’t you lucky. Before too long you could have a whole yard full for free. 🙂

  8. Hi Gullybogan: LOL… Nothing like having the Johnny Appleseed of porn sowing the seeds of love.

    Thanks for stopping by J!

I could really do without Ashley… Especially since I live in a city with not a whole lot of grass around.

  9. well well, my old friend gullybogan is really getting around these days 🙂

  10. Gullybogan and I go way back Nursemyra.

  11. When I was leaving the library I used to work at and moving out of state, I had found a bunch of pretty rocks as I was going through my stuff to move and noticed there were a bunch of similar rocks in the staff area. I brought them in and left them there and never said a word. Weird, yes, but at least I was adding to the collection instead of putting random rocks in random places, haha…

  12. LOL…
