  1. Maybe they were planning some sort of book burning. Weirdo’s.

  2. They never said what the gas was… Maybe it was laughing gas?

  3. Good thing I read the rest of the little article. With a headline like that, the jokes practically write themselves. But, indeed, what kind of gas was it? And could it be any worse than some of the noxious fumes certain patrons bring into libraries regularly?

  4. Even while reading the article, at first you think… Are they breaking wind or what? LOL! And what’s with one of them being charged with “a public order offense?”

    — For the sake of all that is good and holy, stop releasing the terrible gas immediately! You’re causing a panic.

  5. so gas is illegal in public libraries? guess none of our patients are going to be doing much reading then…

  6. I think the key word here is noxious, Marny. That said, this story is from England and I’m not sure what the laws are regarding o2 over there…

  7. I was definitely referring to ‘noxious’ gas 🙂

  8. Hmm…

  9. We may never know..

  10. 😉
