The Wanderer

This morning, while I was at my desk tending to all the drab little things that need tending (Overdue Notices, etc…). A colleague walks by and says, “Some woman is walking around the stacks.” This was odd since it was about a half hour before we opened… Nobody knows how she got inside the building.

  1. No worries, may actually be one of Santa’s elves, you know, there is a quota for women also, we are in the XXI century!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A silly way to wish you all a lovely Xmas and a marvellous 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Welcome Back 88days: Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you as well!

  3. Ack! I wonder if she got locked in overnight, or if one of your coworkers thought she was a volunteer or coworker or something? Hmmm!!!

  4. A coworker mentioned that Cara, alas it isn’t possible @ the Library due to its motion sensors… Just one part of our elaborate, Rube Goldberg security system. She found an open door I surmise. It wouldn’t be the first time that one of our custodians didn’t lock a door 😦

  5. Been busy at work…

  6. Hmm. I don’t suppose you’ve read The Time Traveler’s Wife?

  7. Hi TWL: No I haven’t… There’s a correlation I presume?

  8. The Time Traveler’s Wife…that IS an amazing book. I guess it could be something along those lines…

  9. Still not sure what you’re talking about… I’ll have to do some plot research.

  10. Yeah there’s a correlation, not plausible maybe. But it is an interesting theory. You’ll have to read though. I’m sure you wouldn’t want it spoiled.
