Curse Posted on Library in Medieval Spain

For him that Stealeth a Book from this Library,
Let it change into a Serpent in his hand & rend him.
Let him be struck with Palsy, & all his Members blasted.
Let him languish in Pain crying aloud for Mercy,
Let there be no Surcease to his Agony till he sink to Dissolution.
Let Bookworms gnaw his Entrails in token of the Worm that dieth not,
When at last he goeth to his final Punishment,
Let the flames of hell consume him for ever & aye.

… I think my Library needs to post something similar to keep the natives at bay.

  1. New month = Time for another lost and found update…Anything good?

Also, have you gotten any new high school helpers that are worth yapping about?

  2. I’ll have to check the bin again!

As far as “helpers” go, we have a steady stream of volunteers and community service slaves. Right now the most interesting slave is a female volunteer who a) either doesn’t know how to read, or b) shelves books at any random location. Either way, it’s a problem.
