The Clueless Professor

After dealing with the Clueless Professor at length yesterday my colleague commented that working with her is like, “trying to nail jello to the wall,” because she asks for our assistance and then always asserts that we’re either mistaken or that there is a better way to do whatever it is.

This dovetails nicely with another post I’m working on regarding the sad state of our educational system…

  1. Nailing jello to the wall….priceless! I’ll have to remember that one!

  2. Man, I kind of wonder if you met Dr. Mofo Kinesios or some of the other faculty here at Backwater Rural Branch (BRB) U who, among bad behaviors, do what you describe on a regular basis. And I will look forward to your post on the sad state of the educational system, since I have been pondering such myself. Maybe we can compare notes. Keep up the good fight.

  3. This patron most certainly comes to our library as well. We often wonder how this patron came to have a position teaching ANYthing.

  4. “let’s go to the catalog and you can show me how you searched/queried”
